Another Swap Week- Part 4
By RogerGirl
Well, here it is. My first day as a soccer coach. I nervously open the school door and stare down the hall. It is still early and there aren't many students in the hall yet. In fact, Sabrina is still at home doing her hair and makeup. It's nice to see that she is enjoying playing a girl for the week. I make my way to the gym where a table is set up for me. Looking around there are various tables set up for students to sign up to try out for various teams for Swap Week. I glance to my right and see a familiar face at the basketball table. It takes me a moment, but soon I recognize the man as Sylvia Cho. Of course for Swap Week he is Sylvester Knight, Knight being Sylvia's maiden name. He looks very natural in his masculine identity and makes a very handsome looking man.
"Hey," he says noticing me as I arrive at my table, "Ready for your first Swap Week?"
"I think so," I respond hesitantly.
"Don't worry," he says patting me on the back, "you'll do fine. What did you choose for your Swap Week name?"
"Vincent," I reply.
"It's nice to meet you Vincent," he says, "If you need anything feel free to ask. It took a while for me to get used to being the basketball coach."
"Thanks," I say.
We continue talking as we wait for students to arrive. He tells me about his wife, Crystal, who for the rest of the year is Chris. Like Kelly, I gather that Crystal is a very attractive and passable woman based on what Sylvester tells me. He also invites Kelly and I over for dinner that night. I accept and we call Kelly and Crystal to tell them of our plans for tonight. We've been to dinner at their house in our non-Swap Week roles, but it will be interesting to see each other in our new roles. Normally Chris and Kenny watch sports or drink beer while making steaks on the grill while Sylvia and I prepare the rest of the dinner in the kitchen. This time, it will be a little different.
As we talk, more coaches enter the room and head to their tables. While some of them are in Swap Week roles, others are their regular selves. I smile when Kelly enters the room and walks to the dance team table across the room from me. She is wearing a cream colored blouse, a tight fitting black skirt that ends just above the knee, a pair of dark colored stockings, and a pair of heels that make her long legs look even more incredible. I laugh to myself as I catch even the genetically male coaches checking her out. They all know who she is, but they can't help but look anyway. I walk over to her and we kiss each other softly on the lips. We discuss our plans for the night briefly before I return to my table. When I return Coach Knight gives me a nod of approval.
Soon, students begin to enter the room. While some of them are very passable in their Swap Week identities, there are some who have more trouble passing. Even so, it seems they all try their hardest to get into their roles for the week. While my table is not the most popular, I get quite a few guys signing up for soccer try outs. Most of them, however, sign up to try out for more than one sport. In the distance I see Sabrina enter the room with Sam and a group of guys and girls. I am unable to go and talk to her at the moment, but it is nice to see she is making new friends already. Sabrina and most of the girls in her group sign up for both cheer and Kelly's dance team. I lose her in the crowd after that as more students begin to gather at my table.
After a while, classes begin and the room begins to empty. I make my way to the gym to collect the equipment for the soccer tryouts and make my way to the field. As I am setting up, a man approaches me on the field. To my shock, it is Coach Dearborn, the soccer coach of the college Brian will be attending in the fall. Even though we have met several times, he doesn't seem to recognize me.
"Excuse me," he says looking for the regular coach," I'm looking for Coach Ray."
"Oh, he isn't coaching this week," I reply, "I'm the soccer coach for the week."
"I see," he continues, "Well, do you know where I can find Brian Hayes?"
I stand in silence unsure what to do. What would he do if he saw Brian dressed as a girl? I don't want anything to cost him his soccer scholarship. What do I do?
